Berk Fundraising was founded in 1998, as a pro bono opportunity, to help my community and surrounding areas.  For the past 16 years, I have worked closely with funders and nonprofit leaders as a professional fundraising and business development expert. I obtained my BA from Boston College and an MBA from Northeastern University’s McKim D’Amore School of Business. I am a candidate for the Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy designation, CAP, a graduate level program from the American College of Financial Services.​

With my extensive nonprofit sector experience, ranging from local community organizations to national membership organizations, I have raised over $40 Million from individuals, foundations and corporations in over 80 major gift, annual fund, and capital or comprehensive campaigns, with total dollars raised of over $3.1Billion.​ 

I help organizations manage through disruptive organizational change, including digital transformation, and have a passion for improving people’s lives.

As a Philanthropic Advisor, I create and steward investment partnerships between funders and the organizations they empower. With nearly 75% of U.S. charitable contributions coming from current and legacy giving by individuals and families, I assist individuals and families in finding solutions to the question:  What would you like to accomplish with your money that would be meaningful to you?​
